A bunch of males have been busted by the feds for a “terrifying” and “barbaric” kidnapping scheme, as they allegedly beat, burned, tortured and threatened to kill a person they held at gunpoint.
Seven Bay Staters had been indicted by a federal grand jury for allegedly conspiring to kidnap and torture a person earlier this 12 months.
The defendants allegedly displayed their torture of the sufferer via a videocall to his telephone contacts.
“The conduct alleged in this case is nothing short of barbaric,” Massachusetts U.S. Lawyer Leah Foley stated in a press release. “These defendants allegedly inflicted unimaginable struggling, not solely on the sufferer however on his family members.

NOB, an abbreviation for the Norton/Olney/Barry streets in Dorchester, is an alleged violent prison enterprise whose members are concerned in prison actions — together with homicide, drug trafficking, intercourse trafficking, robberies, firearm offenses and different violent crimes.
Again on Feb. 27, the abductors with masks allegedly assaulted the sufferer exterior his dwelling in Quincy, and compelled him at gunpoint into the passenger seat of his car.
The masked kidnappers allegedly drove the person to a storage in Saugus, the place they demanded ransom from him, held him at gunpoint, threatened to kill him and beat, burned and assaulted him.

“What they’re accused of doing is nothing short of a terrifying nightmare brought to life; forcing a victim into their car at gunpoint and driving to a garage where the victim was beaten, burned, tortured, and used as a human bargaining chip for ransom,” Docks added. “Our goal is to provide some measure of justice for the victim in this case, and work with our partners to eradicate the drivers of violent crime in our communities.”
The defendants have been charged with one depend of conspiracy to commit kidnapping and one depend of obstruction of justice by tampering with a witness, sufferer, or informant by bodily drive or menace.
