A Hamilton dwelling was a “total loss” after a 2-alarm hearth broke out Sunday afternoon, native hearth officers stated.
Firefighters responded to stories of a home hearth in Asbury Grove at about 1:18 p.m. Sunday, in response to the division. Pictures from the scene present heavy flames pouring from an higher window within the yellow home.
“We’re grateful to report that everyone made it out safely,” Hamilton Fireplace Division said in a Fb put up Sunday night. “Unfortunately, the home is a total loss.”
Hamilton police closed down higher Asbury Avenue whereas firefighters battled the blaze. Scanner stories put the situation of the fireplace on Essex Ave within the space.
Nobody was injured, police stated.
On the scene Sunday afternoon, crews labored to carry the fireplace underneath management, at one level ordering firefighters out of the constructing.
The division said they acquired mutual support from Wenham, Ipswich, Essex, Beverly, Topsfield, Manchester, and Gloucester, thanking them for “their outstanding assistance.”
“Thank you to the community for your cooperation and support,” Hamilton Fireplace stated. “Please keep the affected family in your thoughts as they begin to recover from this tragic event.”
Authorities didn’t determine any potential explanation for the fireplace as of Sunday night.
