One of many three individuals who the Coast Guard rescued after their 30-foot boat caught hearth off the Bay State has died.

She suffered extreme accidents when the household’s vessel “Third Wave” caught hearth earlier this week.

“Tyler acted heroically, assisting his parents as they swam toward the shoreline,” reads a GoFundMe web page titled “Help the Sullivans with Funeral and Recovery.”

Then whereas strolling alongside the seaside, Tyler discovered the vessel’s marine radio, which had washed ashore.

The Coast Guard obtained a “Mayday” name from them on Wednesday morning by way of marine radio.

Volunteers from Naushon Belief administered first help to the members of the family, and a Coast Guard MH-60 Jayhawk aircrew from Air Station Cape Cod transported them to Cape Cod Hospital for care.

“Despite the efforts of the medical team, Cici Sullivan tragically passed away from her injuries,” the GoFundMe web page reads.

Cici’s son Chris wrote that his mother “went in peace.”

“This hurts more than anything I could have ever imagined, I am leaning on my close friends and family and my two young children,” Chris posted. “We’ll get via this collectively. My mother was the perfect grandmother, she beloved her grandkids with all her coronary heart.

“My dad is awake and breathing on his own,” he added. “My brother saved both of them, he was able to get them off the boat under extremely chaotic circumstances, he doesn’t want to be called a hero, but he is. Again, thank you for all the support, it means the world. Please pray for my mom. She was the most caring, loving, tough woman I have ever known.”
