Boston Police Blotter: Shoplifting sporting items, sun shades

Boston Police arrested two suspects in shoplifting incidents final weekend.

On Friday, officers responded to a report of shoplifting at Dick’s Sporting Items, 760 Boylston St., within the South Finish round 12:20 p.m.

Police mentioned a suspect had entered the shop earlier, crammed a tennis bag with merchandise, and left it within the retailer. The suspect then allegedly returned again to the shop and tried to steal the gadgets, which have been valued at $745.

Officers stopped the suspect Yeejin Choi, 20, of Boston whereas he allegedly tried to depart the shop and charged him with larceny below $1,200.

The subsequent day round 5:50 p.m., officers have been contained in the Prudential Mall in Again Bay, when workers from Sunglass Hut approached them and mentioned somebody had stolen sun shades from their retailer, then walked out of the mall.

Police mentioned they stopped Mark Busuito, 39, of Boston, with seven pairs of sun shades price $2,492. Busuito was arrested and charged with widespread and infamous theft, in addition to larceny over $1,200.

Incident Abstract

BPD responded to 150 incidents within the 24-hour interval ending at 10 a.m. Wednesday, in accordance with the division’s incident log.

These included arrests for 2 aggravated assaults, one business housebreaking, 9 larcenies, and one auto theft.

All the below-named defendants are presumed harmless till confirmed responsible.

— Ibrahima Barry, 170 Stratton St., Dorchester. Trespassing.

— Juraeah Garcia, 212 Canton St., Randolph. Use of a motorized vehicle with out authority.

— Tiffany Little, 95-97 Waldeck St., Dorchester. Possession of a Class B drug.

— Marina Coelho, 35 Northampton St., Boston. Possession of a Class A drug.

— Corey Albanese, 11 Ledge, Rd. Norton. Warrant arrest.

— Katelyn Hunt, 237 Park St., Dorchester. Shoplifting greater than $100 by concealing merchandise.
