Sarah Paulson is honoring “one of the greatest human beings the world has ever known,” her late good friend Diane Keaton.
On Wednesday, whereas attending the Hollywood Reporter’s Girls In Entertainment breakfast, Paulson shared the e-mail she needs she might ship Keaton at present.
“Dear dumb dumb, I want to tell you I’m sorry that my voicemail was always full,” Paulson started, her voice breaking. “I want to tell you I’m sorry I wasn’t available every time you called me. I want to tell you how much crummier the world is without you in it. I want to tell you everything that happened in my life in the 54 days since you’ve been gone. I want to tell you how the world lost its mind with grief the day you died. And I want to tell you I will miss you forever — and I know to be a moron, and I know you would be heartened to know that.”
Holding again tears, the actor continued her tribute in solely the best way a longtime good friend can.

“I just want to say thank you,” she continued. “I just want to say thank you for being my friend, Sarah Paulson, actress. Please call.”
Earlier in her emotional speech, Paulson described Keaton as a “magical creature” she nonetheless can’t consider is gone — calling her “one of the great loves” of her life.
In October, Paulson appeared on the premiere of her new Hulu collection “All’s Fair,” and spoke briefly about Keaton, who died of pneumonia that month at age 79.
“She was a very dear friend of mine, so it’s not something I’m able to talk about, yet,” she stated. “All I can say, and I have been saying tonight, which is important to me to communicate, is that, what you thought she was as a performer — she was more spectacular as a human being,” the actor continued.
