Actor Matthew Lillard vulnerably responded to Quentin Tarantino’s out-of-nowhere insult over the weekend.

The beloved actor was on the receiving finish of the famed director’s random call-out throughout an look on “The Bret Easton Ellis Podcast” earlier this month.

Whereas Tarantino directed most of his vitriol at Paul Dano, whom he referred to as “the weakest fucking actor in SAG” and “the limpest dick in the world,” he then lumped in two different folks.

“I don’t care for him, I don’t care for Owen Wilson, and I don’t care for Matthew Lillard,” Tarantino added.

Lillard responded over the weekend, whereas making an look at GalaxyCon in Columbus, Ohio.

“Quentin Tarantino this week said he didn’t like me as an actor,” Lillard stated in a now-viral TikTok video, as the group started to boo Tarantino.

“It hurts your feelings,” the “Scooby Doo” actor stated, including that “it fucking sucks.”

“He wouldn’t say that to Tom Cruise. He wouldn’t say that to somebody who’s a top-line actor in Hollywood,” the 55-year-old added. “I’m very popular in this room. I’m not very popular in Hollywood. Two totally different microcosms. So it’s humbling, and it hurts.”

Many actors and administrators have come to each Dano and Lillard’s protection after Tarantino’s feedback.

James Gunn, who has directed Lillard prior to now, posted in assist of the actor on Threads on Monday.

“Just a few photos over the years with one of my favorite guys (and actors) @matthewlillard,” he wrote. “No reason.”
