Watch This Weird Cowl of Skrillex's "Scary Monsters and Nice Sprites" Performed On a Squijeeblion

Have you ever ever heard of an instrument known as a squijeeblion? Neither have we—till we found this weird cowl of Skrillex‘s “Scary Monsters and Nice Sprites.”

The eccentric instrument was invented by Leonard Solomon, who performs the duvet himself. His YouTube channel options an array of different covers performed on outlandish selfmade devices.

The air-powered, acoustic squijeeblion appears like a mix of wind devices, an organ and a foghorn, however the “bass drop” was probably the most shocking sound of all. Recreating the dubstep traditional with a zany, whimsical contact, Solomon’s squijeeblion cowl is an ideal tribute to the 2010 dubstep traditional.

“This song always makes me smile and laugh when I listen to the original version, he wrote on YouTube. “I hope my rendition does one thing like that for you.”
