Massachusetts Democratic Committee votes to endorse Kamala Harris for president

Properly that was quick.

It took only some days since President Joe Biden introduced he was dropping out for the Massachusetts Democratic State Committee to unanimously endorse Kamala Harris for president.

The state Dem committee on Wednesday night met nearly and voted unanimously to again Harris because the 2024 Democratic nominee towards former President Donald Trump.

This got here after a unanimous vote of endorsement of the Massachusetts delegates to the Democratic conference.

“The message is clear: there is resounding support for Vice President Harris from Democrats here in Massachusetts and around the country,” Massachusetts Democratic Occasion Chair Steve Kerrigan mentioned in a press release.

“Our Party is united, energized, and ready to defeat Donald Trump and J.D. Vance this November,” he added.

Harris has been endorsed this week by a number of elected officers within the Bay State, together with Gov. Maura Healey, U.S. Sen. Elizabeth Warren, U.S. Sen. Ed Markey, and Members of Congress.
