Deadly crash kills MassDOT employee on Route 24 freeway in Bridgewater

A car fatally hit a MassDOT employee selecting up particles on the aspect of the Route 24 freeway in Bridgewater Saturday night time, Plymouth County DA Timothy Cruz reported Sunday.

At about 9:30 p.m. Saturday night time, a automotive on Route 24 northbound hit a MassDOT employee on the job exterior of their car close to Exit 28B, the DA’s workplace mentioned in a press release. The employee sustained deadly accidents within the crash and was pronounced useless on the scene.

The employee has been recognized as David Sousa, 57. An investigation into the crash is ongoing, the DA mentioned.
