Fatman Scoop, the long-lasting hype man and hip-hop artist, has tragically died after struggling a medical emergency and collapsing onstage throughout a live performance Friday evening in Connecticut.
The rapper’s dying was confirmed in a press release shared by his household on his official Instagram web page. He was 53.
“It is with profound sadness and very heavy hearts that we share news of the passing of the legendary and iconic Fatman Scoop,” the assertion reads. “Last night, the world lost a radiant soul, a beacon of light on the stage and in life.”
The famed recording artist, whose actual title is Isaac Freeman III, was a beloved collaborator within the digital dance music group. His voice, a gravelly drive of nature that commanded dancefloors worldwide, featured in music by Skrillex, Hardwell, Laidback Luke and lots of extra digital icons.

Freeman’s booming baritone had the uncanny skill to ignite crowds, his call-and-response hooks changing into ageless anthems of celebration.
