Worcester Purple Sox broadcaster Tyler Murray, who has been heard on the New England sports activities airwaves for years and has been calling some Boston Purple Sox video games on WEEI this season, would be the play-by-play radio announcer for the New York Knicks.
The Connecticut native mentioned calling Knicks video games is “the opportunity of a lifetime.”
