One courageous swimmer made a splash taking a dip in a cold Bedford, New Hampshire, pool Thursday morning, native police reported — a moose.

Round 8:45 a.m. Bedford Police and Fireplace departments responded to studies of the wild animal in a swimming pool at a home on Riddle Drive.

The responders arrived to search out an “adult moose in a swimming pool under a pool cover,” police reported.
