Native animal management officers have discovered greater than a dozen canine needing medical care inside a house, in accordance with city officers who condemned the home.

Middleboro Animal Management responded to 53 Precinct St. on Friday to execute an administrative warrant as a part of an animal welfare investigation.

The MSPCA Legislation Enforcement Division additionally executed a legal warrant concerning horses on the property.

Throughout the search, Animal Management officers discovered 17 canine needing medical care inside the house.

“The unregistered dogs had no access to food or water and lived in filth,” city officers stated in an announcement.

One canine needing pressing medical consideration was instantly faraway from the home, and was being cared for by Animal Management.

The Health Division plans to take away the opposite 16 canine from the home with the help of further companies, together with Wareham Animal Management.

They may even take away two cats, a turtle, and a guinea pig discovered inside the house.
