Santa stops in Quincy to march with residents in annual Christmas Parade

Santa Claus made his means by the streets of Quincy on Sunday afternoon in a joyful 71st Annual Christmas Parade.

The annual winter vacation parade kicked off at midday on the intersection of Hannon Parkway, and marched 2.7 miles by Hancock Road all the best way to North Quincy Excessive College, broadcast dwell on QATV.

The parade’s theme was “Home for the Holidays,” chosen by elementary college poster and theme contest winners Tracey Landers and Michelle Kelley.

The parade featured sixteen bands, sixteen floats, Shriners Clowns, Fireplace Brigade, Wally and Tessie from the Boston Crimson Sox, long-time members the Biking Murray household and rather more. Watchers in Quincy seemed on as every little thing from a fireplace dancer to the a six-horse hitch of Clydesdales made their means by the streets.
