Out now through Rezz’s HypnoVizion imprint, the three-track EP is Poni’s second of the yr and follows the February launch of her debut, Powerless. Replete with darkish, entrancing beats, it explores themes of torment and resignation via alluring and skillful sound design.
“Leeches” with Satin Puppets opens the EP on an eerie notice as a siren-like voice attracts us in. The vocals then swap to grating and graphic earlier than a symphonic drop bursts with the intent of dragging us proper down into Poni’s Hellscape.
