My homage to the artists and music I grew up on, and a bridge to connect electronic music with the scenes I’m inspired by.”
The album begins in signature Knock2 style, with two roaring, anthemic home tracks, “rookie” and “crank the bass, play the muzik.” They’re pure dancefloor euphoria, mixing infectious vocals, bouncy four-on-the-floor rhythms and polished sound design to ship an unrelenting surge of adrenaline.
However nolimit is much from one-dimensional. The exhilarating album showcases Knock2’s uncanny capacity to blur and bulldoze style boundaries with clever experimentation. The monitor “shake!the!city!” takes a playful flip, pairing Naliya’s daring, bratty vocals with a catchy, club-ready beat.
