Charlestown houseboat dying dominated murder

Date:

The person discovered useless on a Charlestown houseboat over the weekend has been recognized as Joseph Donohue, 65. His dying has been dominated a murder.

Boston Police recognized Donohue Wednesday and stated that he was discovered affected by a number of stab wounds and that the dying was dominated a murder. The announcement stopped in need of asserting a suspect within the case and as an alternative stated that murder detectives are actively reviewing the details and circumstances surrounding the incident.

“Our family is heartbroken by this unimaginable loss,” Donohue’s household stated in a press release following the announcement. “Joe was a wonderful family member, a cherished friend, and a trusted colleague. Always generous and kind, he dedicated his life and career to helping others. He is loved and will be deeply missed. We’re grateful for the love and support we’ve received, and we kindly ask for privacy during this difficult time.”

On Wednesday, Suffolk County prosecutor Amelia Singh described 24-year-old Nora “Andi” Nelson as a “person of interest” within the dying, as she was discovered on the scene. Nelson was arrested on earlier fees of home violence and assault of a police officer and was held on $7,500 bail. She has no fees related to Donohue’s dying at the moment.

Police responded late Sunday evening to a houseboat on Shipway Place in Charlestown the place Donohue was discovered useless.
