The Songwriters Corridor of Fame has introduced that Gracie Abrams would be the 2025 recipient of the Hal David Starlight Award, which honors younger songwriters.
The ceremony will happen on the 54th Annual Songwriters Corridor of Fame Induction and Awards Dinner set for for Thursday, June 12 on the Marriott Marquis Lodge in New York Metropolis.
The Hal David Starlight Award, created in 2004, was named in honor of SHOF Chairman Emeritus Hal David, for his longtime help of younger songwriters.
The newest honor caps off an exhilarating interval for Abrams. In December of 2024, she supplied up her debut efficiency on Saturday Evening Dwell. As musical visitor on an episode hosted by Chris Rock, the 25-year-old singer-songwriter carried out her hits “That’s So True” and “I Love You, I’m Sorry,” each from the deluxe version of her critically acclaimed album The Story of Us.
