A decade in the past, two school buddies from Western Washington launched a file label that helped form an period of digital music. This summer season, that zeal comes full circle as ODESZA return to Seattle for a once-in-a-decade homecoming.
The duo introduced a particular efficiency of their hometown of Seattle to commemorate the 10-year anniversary of Overseas Household Collective, the unbiased label and artist neighborhood they based again in 2015. A decade after laying the primary brick, they’re constructing a stage to rejoice all the things the model has turn into, a haven for unconventional voices and a catalyst for an period of emotive digital music.

That secret lineup only heightens the stakes considering Foreign Family has long served as a launchpad for genre-defying artists. From the label’s earliest days, ODESZA used their platform to elevate other emerging artists, many of whom would go on to contribute electronic sleeper hits like Jai Wolf’s “Indian Summer time” and Big Wild’s “After I Get There.”
