A Boston man already responsible of vandalism and breaking into automobiles has now been accused of snatching purses whereas he’s on GPS-monitored probation for his earlier crimes.
“We know that a disproportionately small sector of the population drives a disproportionately high percentage of crimes. Our neighborhoods feel the impact of these repeat offenders,” Suffolk District Lawyer Kevin Hayden stated in a press release. “I wish the victim in this incident a full recovery and I can assure her we will do everything possible to hold her assailant accountable.”
Justin Caterson, 33, was charged this week in Boston Municipal Courtroom with crimes associated to snatching the purse of a girl older than 60 as she waited for a Silver Line bus at Washington Avenue and William E. Mullins Manner in February.
The lady complained of head ache after falling to the bottom in the course of the snatching and went to Tufts Medical Heart’s emergency room for remedy. From there, her son referred to as the police who got here and spoke with the lady. She advised police that her IDs, bank cards, keys and about $600 and $700 in money have been stolen.
Surveillance from the world confirmed two males strolling by the sufferer on the bus cease after which returning and snatching the purse, in response to the Suffolk District Lawyer.
