Male college students in Dover-Sherborn Center Faculty reportedly doctored disturbing AI-generated nudes of their feminine classmates in what one official known as “child pornography,” in response to a letter despatched from a Faculty Committee member to folks.
“On September 16th, 2024, eleven female DSMS students were informed that a group of male DSMS students had created explicit images of them using AI technology and were sharing them with lewd messages attached,” Dover-Sherborn Faculty Committee member Colleen Burt wrote.
Although she has not seen the photographs, Burt stated, they’ve been known as “child pornography” by an administrator and “disgusting” by a Dover police officer and college counselor.
In October 2024, Dover Police present in an investigation that 4 male Dover-Sherborn college students had gathered about 350 photographs of feminine college students from the native center and highschool on Discord by secretly taking them, pulling from social media and different sources, Burt stated.
Police discovered a second folder known as “internet girls” with “headless, naked female bodies and body parts, with some bodies looking as if they were dead or being abused,” Burt stated.
“Unfortunately, we have no way of knowing what else was done with these photos, but it is very concerning that one of the male students involved mentioned AI nudify technology in their interview with police,” Burt wrote.
The Faculty Committee member warned mother and father there might be over 100 ladies who’re “unnamed victims in the case” as solely about 20 ladies have been notified. Mother and father who want to know if their daughter was a sufferer, Burt stated, could contact the Dover Police Division.
