Rep. Jasmine Crockett (D-Texas) shared some intriguing insights Thursday on the SiriusXM present “Urban View” about the way forward for the Democratic Social gathering — and mentioned donors are already eyeing “one specific candidate” to run for president within the 2028 election.
In preview clip shared Friday from the total dialog releasing subsequent week, Crockett — who was joined by Pennsylvania State Rep. Malcolm Kenyatta (D), vice chair for the Democratic Nationwide Committee — mentioned inside chatter has virtually confirmed the candidate will probably be male.
“It is this fear that the people within the party, within the primary system, will have about voting for a woman because every time we voted for a woman, we’ve lost,” she mentioned within the Instagram clip. “So far. And I think that that’s a natural fear because we just want to win.”
“So there’s a lot of people that are like, ‘You know what? Let’s go find the safest white boy we can find,’” Crockett continued. “I mean, I’m just saying.”
“Urban View” co-host Clay Cane, whose channel often covers topics impacting the Black neighborhood — together with politics, economics and social points — chimed in to notice that these are the precise assumptions his listeners have been making and calling in to debate.
“‘A white man’s got to do it,’” Cane confirmed. “We’re getting those callers.”
“No, for real,” Crockett agreed earlier than claiming that is already in movement. “And to be clear, when we talk about them, I can tell you that there is one specific candidate. I had a donor on the phones with me telling me that all the donors are lining up behind that candidate.”
“So I can tell you — and I tell you — it’s not a black person nor a woman, ok?” she continued. “So they, quote unquote ‘they,’ have chosen, and when I say ‘they,’ it’s the same donors that most likely had their opinions about [former President] Joe Biden.”

Her loss within the election annoyed untold Democrats and prompted an inside blame sport inside the get together about its future. Whereas Crockett didn’t identify the “one” candidate allegedly being eyed for 2028, one well-known pollster believes they are going to be feminine.
As for Trump’s repeated suggestion that he’ll run for a 3rd time period, Crockett isn’t having it.
“I know he thinks he’s running again, but that ain’t happening,” she mentioned. “I don’t care what all is going on in this country and I don’t care how many things we won’t say we are absolutely going to do, I am telling y’all with all confidence, he is not running for a third term.”
“That is not a thing,” Crockett concluded.
