Craig Thomas, the co-creator of the hit sitcom “How I Met Your Mother,” was shocked to find on his podcast Monday that Cobie Smulders acquired fairly naughty on his set.
Smulders and Josh Radnor, who performed love pursuits Robin and Ted on “HIMYM,” respectively, had been speaking to Thomas on his podcast, when Smulders determined to make a spicy revelation just a little over 51 minutes into the episode.
“Josh and I had quite a few intimate scenes, and so I would try to, as much as humanly possible, before we would roll, whisper something to Josh that was just extremely inappropriate,” Smulders stated.
Radnor eagerly confirmed this, specifying that she’d normally do that whereas they had been filming “post-coital scenes.”
“I felt, as a good scene partner, I should lay out what the moment before was. And typically it was what we just did. And usually it was sexual,” Smulders stated.

Smulders defined that she did this as a way to be sure Radnor felt “comfortable” and so they had “a connection” earlier than rolling.
“And so I would just sort of set us up before we actually started the scene in our speaking roles, just with like, ‘This is what just transpired between us.’ And usually Josh would not be able to say anything and his face would turn that color for those who are watching.”

Smulders was one of many first solid members from “HIMYM” to reprise her function on the present’s Hulu spinoff, “How I Met Your Father,” which starred Hilary Duff.
It’s unclear if Smulders used this similar tactic on Duff throughout her transient scene collectively on the spinoff, but when she did, right here’s hoping Duff comes clear.
