Jenna Bush Hager and the solar have a checkered previous — one which may rival Dr. Seuss’ “Green Eggs and Ham” for its sheer unpredictability.
Bush Hager, debuting her new bob, was joined by visitor host and actor Leslie Bibb throughout Tuesday’s episode of “Today with Jenna & Friends,” the place the 2 swapped tales about their time spent sunbathing (or making an attempt to).
The dialog was sparked by a tangent about Gwyneth Paltrow sharing a video of herself cooking topless for her companion — which prompted Bush Hager to ask Bibb if she’d ever basked within the solar sans bikini prime.
“I am so scared of the sun,” Bibb confessed.
“That’s why you have great skin,” Bush Hager replied.
This opened the floodgates: Bibb recalled how her mom used to sunbathe “naked as a jailbird” on their household deck — setting the stage for Bush Hager to disclose a youthful tanning story that went just a few shades too far.
Whereas in highschool and in Spain, Bush Hager tried topless sunbathing, presumably on a seaside. The consequence? A sunburn so extreme, it took an sudden — and unflattering — flip.
“If you get burned, it’s not pretty,” she mentioned.
Bibb, visibly intrigued, requested, “Did you peel?”
Bush Hager confirmed she did, and what adopted was a hue not present in your typical bronzing palette.
“They turned green? Oh, I don’t think that’s good,” Bibb exclaimed, making an attempt to get well from the vivid picture now logged in her creativeness.
“The White Lotus” actor then requested if Bush Hager nonetheless dabbles in sunbathing.
Her response? A convincing “no.”
She went on to explain the expertise as “gross” and used the second to champion sunscreen.
