Boston man accused of assaulting ‘elderly’ pal, stealing his Social Safety debit card

A 66-year-old man is accused of knocking an “elderly” pal unconscious and stealing his Social Safety debit card in the course of the alleged residence invasion.

Roxbury man Juan Blanco is being held on prices of residence invasion, assault and battery on an individual over 60 or disabled with severe harm, assault and battery on an individual over 60 or disabled, and larceny from a constructing.

Round 1:30 p.m. on April 9, Boston cops responded to a house invasion name at Bowdoin Avenue in Dorchester.

Boston EMS staff helped the 68-year-old sufferer, who complained about head and face ache. The sufferer had a swollen nostril with cuts and dried blood inside and out of doors, in addition to a swollen lip.

The person advised officers that Blanco knocked on his door someday between 11 a.m. or 12 p.m. The sufferer mentioned he opened the door as a result of he acknowledged Blanco and thought of him a pal, although he wasn’t conscious of an impending go to.

When he opened the door, Blanco allegedly hit him within the face with the again of a knife. The sufferer fell to the ground and misplaced consciousness.
