Tame Impala have returned with “End of Summer,” a seven-minute voyage awash in euphoric psychedelia.
Kevin Parker infuses his signature mix of hypnotic nostalgia into the brand new monitor, which he debuted throughout his DJ set in Barcelona final month. Whereas unmistakably stamped with Tame Impala’s sonic DNA, “End of Summer” fearlessly ventures into new territory, laced with hazy nods to 90s acid home and the carefree chaos of rural raves.
Moving into a brand new chapter since his final single two years in the past, Parker is starting considerably of a metamorphosis into what a press launch calls a “future primitive rave act.”
