A motorist on the Mass Pike shot at one other driver over the weekend, based on Mass State Police who’re reminding folks about “the dangers of road rage.”
Troopers assigned to the Millbury Barracks obtained a report of a highway rage incident on the Mass Pike at round 7:15 p.m. on Sunday.
“The reporting party indicated that another vehicle shot at them resulting in a visible bullet hole,” Mass State Police stated in an announcement.
After the shooter fled, the sufferer bought off the Pike on the Westboro Service Plaza — the place troopers met them and confirmed that they didn’t want medical consideration.
Troopers secured the broken car as proof for the State Police Crime Scene Companies Part and the Ballistics Unit to conduct additional evaluation as a part of the continued investigation.
“The Massachusetts State Police would like to remind the public about the dangers of road rage,” Mass State Police stated. “We urge drivers to show respect to each other and avoid aggressive behaviors that pose a danger to everyone on the road.”
Police are urging anybody with data concerning this incident to contact the Millbury Barracks at 508-929-3232.
