A months-long trash strike affecting communities all through Larger Boston is ready to finish Monday after a waste administration firm and native union struck a deal on a five-year contract, based on a press release launched Friday.
Teamsters Native 25 and Republic Providers stated the 2 sides “worked hard to reach a mutual agreement” that may restore service subsequent week. Union members first walked off the job on July 1 when their earlier contract expired with out a substitute.
