A present of music: Boston Pops brings vacation cheer to sufferers at Spaulding Rehab

Boston Pops conductor Keith Lockhart, a Boston Pops ensemble and a Spaulding Rehabilitation Hospital choir introduced the sounds of sugar plums and jingle bells to sufferers and workers Tuesday.

The live performance, now vacation custom, was established in 2010 to honor former Boston Pops member Pat Hollenback who obtained care on the hospital following a stroke.

As a part of the live performance, sufferers used “jingle sticks” to hitch the efficiency and incorporate the music into their rehab care and therapeutic.
