Above & Past Announce First Album in Seven Years, "Bigger Than All Of Us"

Above & Past are set to make their long-awaited return with their fifth studio album, Larger Than All Of Us, their first in seven years.

The influential trance trio comprising Jono Grant, Paavo Siljamäki and Tony McGuinness will launch the album’s first single, “Quicksand (Don’t Go)” on March twenty first. The observe marks a return to the group’s roots and is being touted as “the comeback of Above & Beyond,” in accordance with a press launch shared with EDM.com.

Throughout their time away from collective album tasks, the members pursued particular person artistic endeavors. “Quicksand (Don’t Go)” debuted throughout Above & Past’s sold-out Group Remedy 600 broadcast in Mexico final October. The report reunites them with longtime collaborator Zoë Johnston, who has been working with the band for 22 years because the voice behind a slew of their most prized anthems, like “Love Is Not Enough” and “We’re All We Need.”

“It’s classic Zoë Johnston,” the band acknowledged. “A song with her vocals is a very reassuring thing for our audience. It says: Above & Beyond are back, in a very recognizable form.”

The brand new single is one in all a variety of collaborations promised for Larger Than All Of Us. Above & Past teased that the album will function each acquainted collaborators and “new storytellers.”

“This album is us appreciating how amazing this thing we have is,” the group mentioned in a joint assertion. “The realization of how lucky we are that we get to be part of something like this for 25 years, and to have built a community that cares for each other in the way it does.
