The monitor itself blooms as Suissa’s vocals float atop shimmering synths, light shaker rhythms and echoes of reverberant percussion that ripple out like distant bells.
Explaining its manufacturing, Above & Past’s Jono Grant stated: “It’s a very simple track in terms of its instrumentation, but it’s got quite a lot in it in terms of the arrangement. It’s got a middle eight section, which is quite common in more classic song structures, and usually doesn’t appear in clubbier tunes.”
When the enduring dance music trio set about accumulating the tales that will outline this subsequent chapter, the tune’s essence proved not possible to disregard. That grew to become more and more clear after reuniting with Suissa, with whom they launched “Almost Home” again in 2021.
