Aidan Bissett‘s debut album is simply across the nook. The younger indie-pop artist will launch shut up and love me on July 25 by way of Capitol, and its newest single “2 much 2 handle” is out now.
“2 much 2 handle” is all in regards to the intense longing inherent to a burgeoning romance. “On the table I was kissing your mouth, was it too much to handle?” Bissett sings. “Told your daddy that I slept on the couch, but he’s smart enough to figure it out.” The observe begins as a heat, piano-led sway earlier than switching to a hard-charging guitar rocker and racing its method again to the unique alt-pop aesthetic.
“This one feels like a stop-and-go rollercoaster,” Bissett says. “It captures the feeling of hitting your highest peaks and your lowest lows. Bissett will promote shut up and love me on a tour of the US this fall. His travels kick off Sept. 14 on the Music Field in San Diego. From there, he’ll make dozens of stops throughout the nation earlier than circling again to his dwelling base of Los Angeles on Oct. 22 on the Fonda Theater.
