The legacy of Avicii, one among EDM’s most influential artists, will quickly grace a distinct kind of stage.
Pophouse Entertainment is reportedly creating a musical in regards to the late DJ after buying a majority stake in his music catalog again in 2022. That is in response to the corporate’s Model & Advertising and marketing Director, Kim Nyström, who mentioned it has been working with Avicii’s property on a long-term model technique.
Whereas Pophouse has not but formally introduced the Avicii musical, a consultant from the agency confirmed they “are planning on a musical” when reached by EDM.com for remark.
“Our job is to make sure that we have an ongoing brand mission that is talking to fans, that is engaging over time,” Nyström advised Axios. “Brand engagement will always make sure that the creative projects happen. The stronger the brand, the more people actually want to work with us.”
Pophouse can be behind “The Avicii Expertise,” the Stockholm-based museum in-built honor of Avicii, who tragically died by suicide in April 2018.
