Anthony Scaramucci stated he “really likes” the Taylor Swift tune “Cassandra” throughout a comedic interview posted to TikTok on Tuesday.
Scaramucci, who was former President Donald Trump’s communications director for 10 days in 2017, was discussing karma with Zoe Larkin, a Yale graduate who carried out the interview, when she requested him if he associated to Swift’s tune “Karma.” Scaramucci wasn’t aware of it even after Larkin sang a snippet, however it led him to disclose that he “really” likes the tune “Cassandra” by Swift.
“The goddesses said to Cassandra, ‘You will have clairvoyance, you will be able to see the future, but you’ll also be cursed with that no one will believe you,’” Scaramucci stated.
He went on to clarify that Cassandra, a princess in Greek mythology who was cursed to have her prophecies go unheard, went to her father to inform him that 1000’s of ships had been coming to destroy their metropolis.
Larkin interrupted Scaramucci to inform him about her personal prophecy.
“That’s sort of like when I told everyone that skinny jeans would come back and they didn’t believe me,” Larkin stated.
“Right,” Scaramucci stated. “People don’t like the truth, see?”
He continued: “What Homer was trying to teach, through the fictional character of Cassandra, is that none of us like the truth.”

Larkin, who seems as her alter ego Bjorn Riche within the collection, advised HuffPost that the interview was recorded Could 15 as a part of her comedic interview collection referred to as The Happiness Venture. For the challenge, she’s interviewed people together with writer Zoe Probability, psychologist Steven Pinker and Olympic gymnast Laura Zeng.
Throughout Scaramucci’s interview with Larkin, he referred to as Trump a “crazy person and an asshole,” stated that Trump doesn’t have any associates, and referred to as Steve Bannon, Trump’s former chief strategist, a “actually dangerous individual.”
