Famend dance music label Armada Music has nabbed Peloton‘s first-ever world DJ residency, bringing the power of the imprint, based by iconic DJ and producer Armin van Buuren, to the model’s studios in New York and London.
Merging digital music with the community-driven exercises for which Peloton is understood, the residency kicks off in April with ARTY headlining Peloton Studios New York on April third. The influential producer will soundtrack Peloton’s inaugural “LIVE Dance Cardio” and “LIVE DJ Ride” courses with Peloton instructors Emma Lovewell and Olivia Amato, respectively.
“Being an teacher, music performs a pivotal function in planning my courses and setting the tone for the exercise,” Amato said in a press release. “Armada’s sound serves as the proper psychological escape and motivator through the harder components of sophistication. The collaboration follows the success of last year’s residency with Defected Records in the UK and will include six live, DJ-led classes throughout the year.
