Blazing fireplace guts Squealing Pig restaurant in Mission Hill

A large midnight fireplace on the Squealing Pig pub in Mission Hill blazed scorching sufficient to soften a light-weight pole and components of two vehicles throughout the road, Boston Hearth reported Wednesday.

Round midnight Wednesday, Boston firefighters arrived to “heavy fire” on the neighborhood restaurant at 134 Smith Road and instantly ordered a second alarm, the division mentioned.

A video from close by Northeastern college students, posted to the Boston Hearth X account, exhibits tall flames engulfing the face of the constructing and billowing smoke taking on the block.
