A brand new Bono EP is on its method. Following Apple Authentic Movies’ announcement of a brand new documentary, Bono: Tales of Give up, the Tales of Give up Reside EP will accompany the movie’s launch on Might 30.
The restricted version EP options three dwell recordings of basic U2 tracks: “Desire” from 1988’s Rattle and Hum, “The Showman” from 2017’s Songs of Expertise, and “Sunday Bloody Sunday” from 1983’s Warfare. The EP might be launched on each streaming platforms and seven’’ black vinyl.
Bono: Tales of Give up explores the U2 frontman’s one-man present, Tales of Give up: An Night of Phrases, Music and Some Mischief…, the place he particulars private tales and classes from his life. The documentary will embody never-before-seen footage from the U2’s singer’s April 2023 residency at New York’s Beacon Theatre in addition to performances of the EP’s tunes.
Bono: Tales of Give up is impressed by Bono’s best-selling memoir, Give up: 40 Songs, One Story, and the accompanying e book/theatre tour. It’s directed by Andrew Dominik with government manufacturing by Bono, Jennifer Pitcher, and Kelly McNamara. The film will premiere globally on Might 30 on Apple TV+.
An abridged paperback model of the memoir may even be launched in late Might. Again in January, Bono obtained the Presidential Medal of Honor from President Joe Biden.
