Boston 25 hires information director who was once at WCVB: ‘Grateful to be coming home’

A longtime Boston TV information behind-the-scenes producer and director is coming again to the Hub.

Boston 25 has named Scott Isaacs as its information director.

Isaacs, who spent greater than a decade at WCVB, has most not too long ago been the information director at NBC 10 in Windfall.

“20 years after moving to Boston and a wonderful run here @NBC10 (more on that to come), I’m happy to announce the next twenty will kick off at @boston25,” Isaacs posted on social media.

“I’m grateful to be coming ‘home,’ and I can’t wait to start building something exciting with a great group of journalists,” he added. “See you all in a few weeks!”

Earlier than his seven years in Windfall, Isaacs spent 13 years at WCVB. For many of his tenure, he served as government producer and sports activities director.
