A Boston Public Colleges custodian has been charged with assaulting three faculty staff, allegedly attacking them whereas saying, “You all cost me money.”
Gregory Watford, 46, of Brockton, is accused of assaulting the Mildred Avenue College staff — severely injuring his former colleagues.
Watford has been charged with assault and battery on an individual over 60, and three counts of assault and battery inflicting severe bodily harm.
“This violent incident is particularly disturbing because it happened on the grounds of a public school, which is both a workplace and a safety zone for students,” Suffolk DA Kevin Hayden stated in a press release.
Boston cops responded to the Mildred Avenue College for an assault on Oct. 10 at about 10:47 a.m.
Police spoke to the victims — two faculty custodians and one security officer — who reported being assaulted by their former colleague, later recognized as Watford.
The varsity custodians informed police that they had been within the entrance of the college raking leaves when Watford approached them in an aggressive method. They stated Watford started attacking them whereas saying, “You all cost me money.”

Watford fled the scene earlier than police arrived. A warrant was issued for his arrest.
