Boston Police Blotter: 3 shot in Mattapan

Three individuals had been shot in Mattapan Saturday afternoon.

Boston Law enforcement officials responded to the primary block of Hiawatha Road in Mattapan after the ShotSpotter system alerted them to the sounds of gunshots within the space.

Police say that they discovered three individuals affected by gunshot wounds within the space: two males and one girl.

All three had been taken to space hospitals for therapy. Whereas the lady’s gunshot accidents had been at first deemed life-threatening, a police spokesman mentioned that her prognosis has since been downgraded to “serious.” Neither of the boys’s accidents are deemed life threatening.

Incident abstract

Between 10 a.m. Friday and 10 a.m. Saturday, the Boston Police Division studies that its officers responded to 281 incidents. These embrace two robberies, eight aggravated assaults, one residential housebreaking, one theft from a car, one stolen automotive and 22 situations of miscellaneous larceny.
