Boston Police Blotter: Pembroke little one rapist sentenced to 30 years in state jail

A convicted little one rapist was sentenced to 30 years in jail.

“I am immensely proud of the victims in this case for coming forward with their testimony, and for their continued work with our office to ensure David Johnson’s lengthy prison sentence,” Plymouth County District Lawyer Timothy Cruz mentioned. “Their bravery in the face of unimaginable hardship is a testament to their strength as people, and it is my sincere hope that today’s sentence brings them peace.”

A Plymouth Superior Courtroom jury convicted David Johnson Jr., 47, of Pembroke, of seven counts of kid rape after a six-day jury trial in October. His sentence requires a minimal of 30 years and a most of 38 years, adopted by three years on probation and registration on the intercourse offenders record.

He is not going to be allowed close to any of his victims nor will Johnson be allowed any employment or volunteer alternatives with kids. He can have a GPS monitor.

The Pembroke Police Division started its investigation into Johnson in Might 2021 after his victims got here ahead. His assaults spanned a long time.

– Ivan Rosa Lopes Soares, no deal with listed. Unlicensed operation of motorcar.

– Distinctive Ismail, 2505 Washington St., Roxbury. Carrying loaded firearm with out license.

– Luis Jamie, no deal with listed. Larceny over $250.

– Griffin Phelan, no deal with listed. Uninsured motorcar.
