Boston Police determine man who was shot earlier than automotive crash in Roxbury

The person Boston police imagine was shot in his automotive earlier than the car crashed in Roxbury has been recognized.

Law enforcement officials responded to the 100-block of Ruthven Avenue in Roxbury at round 10 p.m. Thursday for a report of an individual shot. There they discovered a person affected by a gunshot wound who appeared to have been shot inside a car that crashed on the scene.

That man was recognized Saturday as Theo Vernice, 21, of Hyde Park. He was transported by Boston EMS to an area hospital the place he was pronounced lifeless. An post-mortem confirmed Vernice died of a gunshot wound.
