A Boston Police officer was struck by a development car within the North Finish earlier as we speak.
The unnamed officer suffered “serious injuries, but non-life-threatening,” BPD Deputy Superintendent Paul McLaughlin of the Bureau of Investigative Providers instructed reporters at round 2:30 p.m. as we speak.
The officer was working a paid element at a development space across the intersection of North Washington and Thacher streets Thursday when round 12:40 p.m. he helped the crew flip a development car round to go inbound again into the town.
“At that point he stopped traffic, the vehicle came through, it struck him, causing him to fall to the ground,” McLaughlin stated. He stated responders carried out first assist earlier than the officer was transported to Massachusetts Normal Hospital.
