A Cape Cod man will likely be arraigned right this moment after he allegedly tried to sexually assault a 5-year-old little one at a neighborhood park earlier this week, in response to authorities.
Ryan Evans, 27, of South Yarmouth, faces prices of assault to rape a toddler, kidnapping of a kid, and indecent assault and battery on a toddler underneath 14 in connection to the Tuesday night incident at Yarmouth’s Peter Homer Park.
It took almost 24 hours for Yarmouth Police to seize the suspect.
Police initially responded to a report of a person, later recognized as Evans, making an attempt to sexually assault a 5-year-old little one prompted Yarmouth Police to reply to Peter Homer Park shortly earlier than 8 p.m. Tuesday.
“While at a soccer game on the fields, the unknown man lured the child behind the park’s restrooms where the attempt took place,” a launch states. “The child’s screams managed to scare off the suspect and he fled the area.”
