Cape Cod seaside closes to swimming after shark sighting; shark washes up lifeless on Massachusetts seaside

A shark washed up lifeless on a South Shore seaside Thursday morning, whereas an awesome white shark was noticed 5 yards from the Cape Cod shoreline.

Shark researcher John Chisholm had acquired a report from fishermen a few thresher shark “acting odd” in very shallow water off Duxbury Seaside Wednesday night time.

“This morning it washed up dead,” Chisholm posted. “It was a 12′ mature male that was recovered for a necropsy. Michelle Passerotti (NOAA biologist) & crew will try to determine cause of death.”
