Techno legend Carl Cox is ready to make a high-profile return to Ibiza this summer time with a residency at Ibiza’s latest clubbing vacation spot, [UNVRS].
The enduring DJ and producer will take over Sunday nights, promising a back-to-basics method centered on “unfiltered, soul-stirring music.”
“This is more than a comeback; it’s a reunion with the island that shaped so much of my journey,” Cox stated in a press launch. “I’m ready to take it back to what it’s all about—unfiltered, soul-stirring music. Sundays at [UNVRS] is something I really want Ibiza to experience. It’s the night I believe the island should have.”
[UNVRS] (pronounced “Universe”) is positioned as a cutting-edge venue with an emphasis on revolutionary manufacturing and immersive experiences. The membership goals to “set a new global standard” for the White Isle’s nightlife sector whereas offering Cox with a platform to curate various lineups, mixing techno and home music heavyweights with appearances by seminal Ibiza DJs.
Yann Pissenem, founder and CEO of The Evening League and Ushuaïa Entertainment, described the partnership as a pivotal second for the storied occasion island.
“Carl’s legacy is inseparable from Ibiza’s story, and with this new residency, we’re setting the stage for the next era,” Pissenem stated. “Sundays will never be the same again. It’s an absolute honour to have him at the helm of this groundbreaking chapter.”
