The music of the label usually existed on the intersection of R&B and folks music and gave platforms to artists like John Lee Hooker, Buddy Man, Willie Dixon, and Massive Invoice Broonzy—artists who later influenced everybody from The Beatles to Beyoncé. For 75 years, artists have been impressed by Chess Data, and shall be for a lot of extra to come back.
