Grammy-winning Irish singer-songwriter Cian Ducrot has introduced the discharge of his sophomore album, Little Dreaming, through Darkroom/Polydor/Capitol. The album can be out there on vinyl, CD, cassette, and digital codecs on July eleventh.
Sharing his ideas on Little Dreaming, Cian says, “This album has been a crazy journey. It was an absolutely amazing experience. I set out to just be as creative and as free and as expressive as possible, and I think we’ve done that. It’s not an overstatement to say making the record has changed my life.”
Accompanying the announcement, Cian has premiered the star-studded music video for the titular single, that includes a forged of Irish actors. Cian performs the fictional singer Juno Lush, whereas his bandmates embody Lola Petticrew and Hazel Doupe from the acclaimed Disney+ sequence Say Nothing, and Chris Walley from the cult comedy The Younger Offenders. Cian/Juno dons glittery sun shades to sing: “I can take it full Picasso, I don’t care who wore it first / If it’s drunk tank pink, if it’s his or it’s hers / I can wear my favorite pearls, like all my favorite girls / If it looks good on them, then I can make it work!”
Cian not too long ago joined the UK and European legs of Teddy Swims’ I’ve Tried All the pieces However Remedy Tour, and carried out at an Eire vs. France rugby match. It was an opportunity to honor his Irish-French heritage when he sang each nations’ anthems — to not point out enjoying the Little Dreaming single “Who’s Making You Feel It” at halftime.
