The assembly “kind of went nowhere.” However then, in March of 2023, Deadline broke the information that Flanagan had scheduled one other Clayface pitch assembly, this time with DC Studios bosses James Gunn and Peter Safran. And on the finish of final yr, it was introduced that Flanagan is formally writing a Clayface film that will likely be a part of the DC Universe movie franchise that’s being overseen by Gunn and Safran.
