Colman Domingo didn’t hesitate when requested who he believed was probably the most fashion-forward particular person — he had a single, assured reply.
“Who in your opinion is the best-dressed person of the year?” an interviewer for British GQ requested Domingo in an Instagram clip posted on Tuesday.
“Colman Domingo,” the actor replied, prompting resounding laughter. “I wish I was lying.”
The reporter had no rebuttal, and Domingo rapidly defined why he selected himself.
“I’m just saying it because I want my brothers to step up,” he continued. “It doesn’t have to be me every year, but maybe you can try harder.”

Their back-and-forth saved the laughter flowing. “It’s often you. Last time I saw you, it was you,” the interviewer added.
“I can’t believe I just said myself, but it’s kind of true though,” the “Rustin” actor admitted, because the second wrapped, laughter nonetheless hanging within the ambiance.
Domingo’s confidence isn’t with out receipts. In April, Vogue declared he’s “setting the bar for men’s fashion.” The outlet spoke along with his stylists, Wayman Bannerman and Micah McDonald, who broke down the artistic engine behind his standout appears.
